Gorgeous Teal and Aqua Smocked Silk Pageant Dress

The colors of this dress were so beautiful in person. I just loved it. So it was no surprise to me when the little client wearing it stole the show at her pageant :) She won queen and fashion in her age division and she also got overall fashion and queen in her Dandelion Avenue original dress! Congratulations!!!

Another Silk Smocked Pageant Dress

I just finished this little dress and I thought the colors were so unique that I would share it with you. It is an interesting shade of purple and an iridescent cream color that looks lilac when the light reflects off of it. I thought it turned out really sweet.

Gorgeous Tiffany Blue Smocked Pageant Dress!

Happy New Year!! I'm sorry for neglecting my blog, I tend to post everything on facebook only any more. I do know that some people are not on facebook, so I will try to continue to post here :o) This was my first dress of the new year. It was a lovely tiffany or icy aqua blue and white combination. I really love how it turned out.

Lovely Silk Christmas Dress!

I'm sure anyone reading this is getting ready for Christmas! I have been busy sewing like crazy. A huge wedding order and lots of pageant dress orders :) This was my only actual Christmas order. I really liked how this little dress turned out. I love the classic color combination and traditional lines.

Pool Blue Silk Pageant Dress

Here is a dress I designed for a customer who wanted a dress that was embroidered, but not smocked. It was a lovely pool blue silk. I made it with two sashes to change up the look when desired. I embroidered the bodice with white bullion roses and pearls.

Ivory and Gold Smocked Silk Flower Girl Dress!

I just love how this little dress turned out. It is made of ivory and gold dupioni silk. It features an inserted sash and lots of pearls sewn into the smocking :o)

I really loved how this little dress set turned out. It is a dupioni silk set with a white bodice and a rich cornflower blue skirt and bloomers. The bodice is smocked with bullion rose sprays and a row of pearls for extra interest :o) Here is a closeup of the smocking

A Ball Gown for a Princess' Birthday!

This dress was custom ordered by a special client for a Royal Birthday Gala! (Lucky little girl!) It is made of iridescent lilac and magenta silk dupioni. I hand embroidered some bullion roses along the bodice and added a few beads for extra sparkle.

I can't wait to see a photo of this little beauty wearing it :o) I know she will have a lovely birthday. Thanks for looking!

Royal Purple Smocked Silk Gown

Here is a lovely little smocked silk gown I made for a sweet little girl that used to model for me years ago! She was only 18 months back when she used to be my little model and now she is already 7!!! My time flies by sooooo quickly. If her mom sends me any photos, I will post some then and now photos! :o) Here is the gown. It is the richest shade of purple!

Matching Flower Girl Bishop

Fuchsia and Orange Majesty

Here is my latest little pageant creation. It is a stunning fuchsia and orange silk combo. The bodice is fully smocked from shoulder to waist and loaded with orange glass seed beads but they were hard to photograph.

Smocked Silk Flower Girl Dress

I have an order for 4 coordinating flower girl dresses. 3 yoke dresses, and one bishop. The bride wanted them to be ivory with tone on tone smocking. I think they are turning out so timeless and elegant.

Another Smocked Sunday Best Style Silk Pageant Dress!

I really loved this color combo in this little silk dress. The accent color silk was a super unique green/gold/teal color, depending on which way the light hit it!
That is the neat thing about iridescent silk......it changes colors depending on which way you look at it :o)

I smocked the bodice with a variegated thread that went from teal to green to gold and added glass seed beads for extra sparkle.
