Royal Purple Smocked Silk Gown
Here is a lovely little smocked silk gown I made for a sweet little girl that used to model for me years ago! She was only 18 months back when she used to be my little model and now she is already 7!!! My time flies by sooooo quickly. If her mom sends me any photos, I will post some then and now photos! :o)
Here is the gown. It is the richest shade of purple!
Here is a closeup of the smocking and embroidery:
The gown is my original pattern that I drafted years ago. I had almost forgotten how to make it, it had been so long. Anyhow, I thought you might like to see it.
Have a great day!

Fit for a princess!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! That is a sweet dress. I am amazed at how you work with silk. It would make me crazy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful dress! Stunning and unique, too. Will you be marketing your pattern? This one looks perfect for the older girl who doesn't want to wear "little girl" clothes.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Karen for your kind words. Like I replied below to Emily, if I can ever get the time, I will try and market the pattern :o) Thank you again!

Ditto what Karen said! I would LOVE to purchase the pattern . . . does that look like a future possibility?
ReplyDeleteIF I can ever get caught up, I would like to make this pattern available. It is basically the same as my smocked top pattern..with a few variations. I am just swamped with orders at the moment and it takes such a long time to draft all the pattern pieces and write up all the instructions, photos, etc. :o)
