Here is a little silk dress that I created for a customer that features various shades of blue/greens to give it an "ombre" effect :)
This little sweetheart also won in her dress!
I'm so happy for my pretty little clients!
The colors of this dress were so beautiful in person. I just loved it. So it was no surprise to me when the little client wearing it stole the show at her pageant :) She won queen and fashion in her age division and she also got overall fashion and queen in her Dandelion Avenue original dress! Congratulations!!!
I just loved how this sweet little dress turned out. I think this is one of my favorite color combinations. It is a bright baby blue with icy green accents. The bodice is smocked with pearls.
I hope I get to see a photo of it being worn!!
Thank you for looking!
I just finished this little dress and I thought the colors were so unique that I would share it with you. It is an interesting shade of purple and an iridescent cream color that looks lilac when the light reflects off of it. I thought it turned out really sweet.
Happy New Year!! I'm sorry for neglecting my blog, I tend to post everything on facebook only any more. I do know that some people are not on facebook, so I will try to continue to post here :o)
This was my first dress of the new year. It was a lovely tiffany or icy aqua blue and white combination. I really love how it turned out.
Here is a closeup of the smocking. It featured pearls, bullion roses and a woven sash.
I sing, I sew, I smock. I spend way too much time on this computer! I am a stay at home Christian mom to 2. I have had the honor of having several designs featured in AS&E magazine and on the cover of Designer Smocking for Tots to Teens. I have also had a pattern featured in Sew Beautiful Magazine.
