Ivory and Gold Smocked Silk Flower Girl Dress!
I just love how this little dress turned out. It is made of ivory and gold dupioni silk. It features an inserted sash and lots of pearls sewn into the smocking :o)
Here is a closeup of the smocking. You can't see the details very well in the full shot.
I just love how elegant it all looks together :o)
Thank you for looking and I hope you have a blessed week!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful. How did you do the gaps for sash insertion? Did you smock first, mark the insertion points, backsmock and then cut the insertion holes and secure with button hole stitch or is there a simpler method? Love your work.
